Pablo Inza and Sofia Saborido (Buenos Aires) teaching workshops in Seattle and Bellevue...11/6/2016
I've been knowing Pablo Inza for 15 years and have studied with him numerous times. I can assure that he is one of the best teachers who will truly influence your dancing. His teaching style is methodical, thoughtful and detail-oriented. He has been coming from traditional tango into the tango-nuevo era, and then back to the Traditional style after he met Sofia, his present dance partner. Dancing and teaching both styles allows him to see body mechanics in a deep level, and the advice each student may receive is truly valuable. Everyone tied up together in the rhythm of the Tango! Teachers: Alex Krebs and Patricia Becker (USA), Eugenia Parrilla and Yanick Wyler (Argentina), Gaston Torelli and Mariana Dragone (Argentina).
Another year of a great festival rounded up nicely. It was the 11th TangoMagic Festival, and our 2nd year organizing it. We deeply appreciate all the help and support that we received from our Seattle tango community during those days, and we feel honored to be part of it. It is always our pleasure to produce and work on this festival. It was a joy for us to see many tango dancers returning to Seattle or coming here for the first time. We were honored to work with great tango professional dancers, musicians, and DJs. TangoMagic 2015 instructors team: Alex Krebs and Patricia Becker (USA), Ney Melo and Jennifer Bratt (USA), Pablo Inza and Sofia Saborido (Argentina), Virginia Pandolfi and Jonatan Aguero (Argentina). What people are saying about their experience at the festival...
Seemanta Dutta (as posted on Facebook event page): This festival was probably one of the best ones I have attended in my life. Excellent dancers from the US and Canada, excellent venues and so much hard work put in by Kristina and Anton and their volunteers. I am very grateful to the Seattle community for welcoming me into their city and their hearts! And of course, many many thanks to the maestros and maestros who enriched us with their knowledge and inspired us by their performances! Simply put, your presence made our tango experience something to be remembered! And who can forget the sublime music of the DJs who kept us dancing even though our feet hurt! And then there was the Salmon Bake! This can only be experienced in person and writing anything about it is pointless. Just one of those experiences! Cheers to the Seattle tango community as I now look forward to next year's festival! Edit Fasi (as posted on the Facebook event page): Thank you very much for organizing this event Kristina and Anton. Kudos to all the wonderful volunteers, dj's and teachers! Thank you for the Seattle tango community for the warm welcome! I had a fabulous time dancing; met some new tango friends and saw few dancers who moved from NYC to the west coast in the past few months. I am sure I'll be back at one point and please feel free to contact me if you are planning to come to NYC for tango. Cheers!
